SAFETY INFORMATION
Liability Waiver
All throwers are required to read and sign our liability waiver to participate. You’ll be prompted to fill out our waiver conveniently online when you book your reservation. Read and download it here for your reference.
Is it safe?
Absolutely! Axe throwing is a super safe sport as long as you follow the rules and safety guidelines! An axe master will walk you through proper throwing technique and safety reminders before any throwing begins. They’ll remain near your party for the duration of the event. Besides fun, safety is most important to us. We want this to be the best experience ever!
Read up on our guidelines below!
All of our axes are inspected prior to each party to ensure your safety. Throwers are taught to grip the axe by the handle (not the blade!). We make sure the blades are sharp enough to hit and stick in the target, but not too sharp that it will hurt you.
No broken or defective axes are permitted for play. If you do bring your own axe, it must be inspected at the front desk. If you notice any damage to an axe, please let your axe expert know.
Appropriate axe handling is necessary. We reserve the right to terminate your experience if a patron is being unsafe. Do not hand off axes. Never gesture with an axe. Never leave your throwing lane with an axe. Only overhead throws are allowed.
Courtesy and good sportsmanship make the experience. Please be considerate of your party and other patrons. No fighting or arguments or you’ll be asked to leave.
Spectators must stand a minimum of 5′ behind throwers. “At bat” throwers are only permitted in designated areas. Both throwers should throw before approaching a target to retrieve axes. Pictures may be hung on targets using tape only.
Proper attire is required. No open-toed shoes or heels are allowed. Please refrain from hanging or holding on the fence.
You must be 12+ to enter our facility. Throwers under 19 must have our waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
No animals allowed.
No smoking or vaping inside.
